Curriculum

MY Tennis School is a campus of Box Hill Senior Secondary College. It is a school with a great team of teachers dedicated to the school. We teach the following subjects as listed below. MY Tennis School has access to many of the facilities in the Senior School. For example, students use the Science Labs, the Sculpture room for Art and the Hospitality area for Practical Nutritional sessions.

Year 8                 Maths, English, Integrated Studies, Science, Drama, Art

Year 9                 Maths, English, Integrated Studies, Science, Foods

The school also participates in the following  activities:

School camps at each year level.

Year 7-9 students have the opportunity to participate in an interstate AR tournament 

Premiers’ Reading Challenge and Writing Competition.

Tree planting day, Rubbish free day, Annual Diverstiy Day, Exploring the city of Melbourne

MY Tennis School is a Mac laptop school. Students access most of their class material via Moodle (a platform for uploading curriculum.) The curriculum is supplemented by excursions and whole school days. There is a strong focus on nurturing the whole person and building relationships. Students often work in groups and complete interactive projects. Examples of this are the year 8 robo lab science challenge, 5/6 egg dropping, use of multi-media in delivery of curriculum and assessment of learning.

There is an established pathway into the Senior College.
